What's NOT in the PoGo Pack™?

We've deliberately not included tampons and feminine wipes.

Many parents think it's inappropriate for young girls to use tampons – and we do too. Until your periods have settled down into a regular pattern and you know how heavy your blood flow is during your periods, it's not wise to use them because you need to know what size tampon to use. Although problems are rare, using tampons incorrectly can sometimes put your health at risk. To understand this better, please visit some of the websites we recommend – see More Useful Stuff.

Girls can sometimes have an allergic reaction to the chemicals in feminine wipes. As long as you wash every day, there shouldn't be a need to use them, so why put yourself at risk?
