An interactive site from the BBC that shows how a girl's body develops and what happens to her body during periods (though the girl doesn't look like much of a girl to us!)

This is run by Marie Stopes, the international charity that provides sexual and reproductive health information. It has a fantastic section on periods, and information for older teenagers.
